The Wensah Foundation, an NGO based in Sunyani, has feted kids at the Compassion Is Love In Action (CILIA) Orphanage at Yawhima near Sunyani in the Bono Region.
The party for the kids at the Orphanage forms part of the Christmas festivities, children from the Yawhima community also had the opportunity to take part in the programme. The organisation also donated drinks, biscuits, toffees among others.
Founder of the Wensah Foundation, Isaac Osei Amponsah in an interview with Citi News noted that the programme was to put smiles on the faces of the kids during the Yuletide.
“We organised this programme to put smiles on the faces of the kids at this orphanage, it is not easy to stay at an orphanage. We are also doing this to show them love. They need support to cater for these lovely kids,” Isaac Osei Amponsah noted.
Founder of Compassion Is Love In Action Orphanage, Rev. Mrs Charlotte Osei Kwateng commended Wensah Foundation for the party organised for the kids and the items donated to the home, which she believes would go a long way to cater for the kids.

“Our bus is broken down and because of this we are unable to send the kids outside, we are appealing to people to come and support us repair our bus.”
