A flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, has completed his vetting.
Dr. Apraku was the first to undergo the process on the third day of the vetting exercise, which is scheduled to end on July 6.
Former Agriculture Minister Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto and Member of Parliament (MP) for Essikado-Ketan, Joe Ghartey, are the other aspirants expected to complete the session today.
Six aspirants, including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen, have already faced the Oquaye committee.
The Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye committee is tasked with thoroughly examining and assessing the 10 party stalwarts who have submitted their forms to compete in the party’s flagbearer race.
This crucial vetting process will play a significant role in determining the party’s presidential candidate for the upcoming election.
