Accra is about to witness the 21st edition of Logos Rhema’s iconic praise and worship concert.
Logos Rhema, a non-denominational church known for cultivating transformational leaders, will host a seven-day-long celebration of praise and worship from October 29 to November 4, titled “144 Non-Stop Praise And Worship.”
The event’s mission is to ignite hope and invoke God’s blessings upon the nation.
This year’s event will also embrace the global community, offering a virtual platform for Diasporans to participate seamlessly.
President and International Director of Logos-Rhema Foundation for Leadership Resource Development, Dr. Abu Bako unveiled the unique progression of this year’s event during a press interaction.
The celebration commences with 24 hours of non-stop praise and worship, which subsequently evolves into 48 hours, 120 hours, and culminates in an 144 hours of continuous devotion.
Dr. Bako noted that this year’s program extends beyond the musical aspect.
“It will include elements like Bible reading, proclamations, and declarations, citing the historical significance of figures like David, who achieved great victories through praise and worship.”
According to Dr. Bako, the event’s impact will transcend mere inspiration, influencing various aspects of the economy, including education, training, and development.
Dr. Bako, who is also a renowned economist and President of the College of Sustainable Transformation and Development (COSTrAD), underlined the importance of acknowledging the synergy between religion and governance in shaping the socio-economic development of the nation.
He passionately asserted, “People responsible for governance should be aligned with God’s purpose. The notion that religion and politics don’t mix is contrary to the scriptures. Governance is divinely guided, and this event aims to seek divine direction for our nation.”
The event is set to feature a diverse array of participants, including ministers in music, dancers, drummers from around the world, representatives from the 24 alter zones, attendees from across the continent, intercessors, ministers of the Gospel, renowned gospel musicians from Ghana and abroad, and leaders from various Christian groups.
