Pressure group, Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) has demanded an independent judicial probe into the revelations of corruption contained in Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest expose, Number 12.
ASEPA after watching the screening of the video yesterday said the only the Office of the Special Prosecutor could probe and punish the rot in the country’s football administration.

The Executive Secretary of ASEPA, Mensah Thompson, after viewing the video told Citi News they would petition the Special Prosecutor straight away for action.
“We are taking this as a mandate to officially to write to the Special Prosecutor in a formal petition to take over this investigation and investigate the matter of it and prosecutor all other persons who name have been mentioned in this particular case, so that we can get to the bottom of this matter,” he said.
Anas’ #Number12 documentary exposé roped in political figures, referees and officials of both the GFA and the National Sports Authority.
Some high profile figures who were named by GFA boss Nyantakyi include Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Deputy Roads Minister, Anthony Karbo, and MP for Assin Central and Anas’ biggest critic over the last few days, Kennedy Agyapong.
In the video, Nyantakyi, in interaction with persons, he believed to be investors, quoted several sums of money to be given to those political figures and himself to facilitate the deal.
