GCB Bank emerged the overall winner of the Citi Business Olympics for the third straight time.
Team GCB Bank overcame stiff competition from the over 30 institutions who participated in different sporting disciplines, by bagging three trophies to emerge the overall winner.
GCB Bank left the 2019 Citi Business Olympics with the corporate bragging rights after bagging most trophies at the event for the third-year running.
In 2017, they were joint winners with Nexis Ghana before they dominated the competition in 2018.
The Citi Business Olympics is the biggest corporate sporting event in Ghana bringing organizations from various industries for recreation and networking purposes.
Some of the sporting disciplines organizations competed in include; football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, lime and spoon race, sack race, scrabble, and swimming.
Total MD, Eric Fanchini wins CEO challenge for 2nd year running
The Managing Director of Total Eric Fanchini also emerged the overall winner of the CEO’s challenge at the tournament for the second year running.
His feat today makes him the only one to have won the competition since its introduction last year.
He beat competition from some other 18 Chief Executive Officers who took part in the challenge.
