A traditional priest and his accomplice are in the grips of the Accra Regional Command for allegedly possessing suspected human parts.
The two, Seth Kofi Laine and Fred Sasu, were arrested by the La District Police Command upon a tip-off.
According to the police, the prime suspect claimed to be a licensed traditional priest.
Speaking to Citi News, the Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, DSP Afia Tenge said the two are currently assisting in police investigations.
The La District police were tipped off that the two were operating around Tse-Addo.
“The police proceeded to this area and found this man who claimed he was a licenced fetish priest. He had something like skeletal parts of human remains so he was arrested and what was believed to be a skull was found with him.”
According to the priest, human parts were “something he had inherited from his grandfather and that is what he uses as part of his spiritual dimensions and what-have-you.”
