245 deportees from Kuwait arrive in Ghana [Video]

The 245 Ghanaians who were illegally staying in Kuwait have been deported back to Ghana.

They were brought into the country today, Saturday, May 23, 2020, on a chartered flight.

Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah while briefing the media yesterday [Friday, 22nd May 2020] said the Government of Kuwait had taken care of the travel cost.

He said the 245 persons will be mandatorily quarantined and tested for COVID-19.
