Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Ghana and philanthropist, Mr. Augustine Yaw Blay, has visited the Autism Awareness Care & Training Center (AACT) to mark his birthday celebration.
The ceremony was graced with musical and dance performances from the autistic kids as well as the celebrant and his choir.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Augustine Blay explained that the initiative is to help create more awareness of autism and show the kids the love and care that they deserve.
Mrs. Serwah Quaynor, the founder of AACT in her appreciation speech, asked for more aid to help the center complete its building to accommodate more children.
Right now we need to finish the building we are in, we need two hundred thousand dollars and I know God will do it”, she stated.
The celebrant, Augustine Blay contributed an amount to the fundraising and has pledged to support the effort to raise more funds to complete the building.
