Asustem Robotics Academy has received a prestigious award at the Golden Ace & Leadership Awards 2023 as the best NGO/Foundation in Ghana.
Asustem Robotics Academy is a Non-governmental Organization in Ghana with its Headquarters at Accra.
The organisation’s core mandate is inspiring young minds and developing creative thinkers for 21st century jobs skills. The organization has focused over the years developing and equipping the youth, working individuals and anyone who has the passion to increase his knowledge base in the tech careers. Over the years they have also trained over one thousand kids, youth under their “Catch them young project”.
Asustem has also trained over two hundred females under their “GPower (Girl Power) project, that empowers and train females in technology modules. Asustem Robotics initiated the TransforME STEM Roadshow project to impact the lives of 1,500 youth and working individuals across the sixteen (16) regions of Ghana. This has earned them an award as the Best/Foundation of the year 2022, the citation read.
The Golden Ace Leadership Awards, is a prestigious award applauding top-notch personalities recognized by their leadership and prowess in the Industry.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asustem Robotics, Mr. David Asumadu-Boateng together with Mrs Nana Achiaa Asumadu-Boateng, a co-founder of Asustem Robotics and the Director responsible for operations and other staff of the company were present to receive the award.
Mr. David Asumadu-Boateng in an interview thanked the organizers for acknowledging hard work in the industry and assured him his outfit will eschew complacency but work harder to achieve its objectives.
“Asustem Robotics Academy, has impacted kids, and trained the youth, working individuals through STEM modules such as Robotics, AI, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Python Programming, Internet of Things, Web development and Data Analytics over the years”. He said and assured that his outfit will not rest on its oars but continue to introduce relevant programs to address challenges in the 21st Century.
