The Ghana Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has been elected to lead the African Network of Cybersecurity Authorities (ANCA), which was created by Smart Africa to enhance cybersecurity collaboration among African countries.
The African Network of Cybersecurity Authorities (ANCA) aims to establish a platform for communication and collaboration among authorities responsible for cybersecurity in African countries. This network will enable members to share ideas and work together on cybersecurity issues, as well as represent their countries in international discussions on cybersecurity matters.
On November 28, 2023, Ghana was chosen to lead the network, with the Kingdom of Morocco serving as vice chair. This decision was made during a meeting held in Accra in conjunction with the Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B).
