The Osu Castle throbbed with life on Saturday, December 4, as throngs of patrons basked in the vibrant energy of the Rhythms On Da Runway event.
The event, organised by acclaimed media personality and CEO of Nineteen 57 Clothing, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) has secured its place as a December calendar staple in Ghana, offering a platform for contemporary Ghanaian fashion, arts, crafts, and music.
Distinguished figures in the music industry such as Rex Omar, and Bessa Simons alongside politicians including NDC’s Peter Otokunor and MP for Ningo-Prampram Sam George were some of the attendees.
While the music and models commanded attention, Peter Otokunor stole the show with his side-splitting humour.
During the peak of the show, one of the hosts, Nathaniel Attoh asked Otokunor what NDC’s campaign promises were for the 2024 election. The NDC stalwart responded with “24-hour economy”.
24-hour Economy is one of the policies former President and the flagbearer of NDC John Dramani Mahama has promised to implement if voted into power.
With every witty quip and hilarious observation, Peter Otokonor in his usual elements had the entire venue transformed into a stage of pure laughter.
