Huawei has launched its industrial and residential smart photovoltaic (PV) system in Ghana, marking a significant step in the development of the new era energy industry.

The FusionSolar residential smart PV solution by Huawei offers stable and reliable power, with the capability for seamless switching between on-grid and off-grid power sources.

Huawei’s offerings include advanced technologies such as a smart energy controller, smart string energy storage systems, and the FusionSolar App, all of which are integrated with solar-oriented solutions.

At the FusionSolar Channel Partner Summit in Accra, on Thursday 18, at Kempinski Hotel, Xia Hesheng, the President of Huawei Digital Power Sub-Saharan Africa Region, emphasized the significance of energy storage in the context of increasing photovoltaic energy generation efficiency.

He projected solar energy as a widely used power source for both residential and commercial applications.

Nick Lusson, Vice President of Huawei Digital Power Eastern Africa Region, stressed the importance for Ghanaian businesses to align with global trends by adopting their durable and eco-friendly smart string inverters.

At the Summit, the company unveiled its channel policies and showcased solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential products to over 110 participants from across the continent, demonstrating the latest sustainable energy solutions.

Photovoltaic (PV) systems have been successfully installed worldwide for years, serving a variety of applications such as powering remote weather stations, telecom towers, residential installations, community micro-grids, and large-scale power plants.
