LG Electronics joins industry specialists to empower tech enthusiasts in Ghana

LG Electronics is proud to announce the launch of its Insider Community, a dynamic platform designed to unite industry experts, tech enthusiasts, and innovators in a shared mission to advocate for empowerment through technology.

With a focus on driving positive change and fostering innovation, the LG Insider Community aims to harness the collective expertise and passion of its members to address pressing global challenges and shape a brighter future for all.

“Speaking at the Launch of the LG Insider Community, Ms. Doris Onwuagba, Digital Manager, LG Electronics, said, We believe in the transformative power of technology to drive positive change and empower individuals and communities, and with the launch of our Insider Community, we are thrilled to bring together industry experts, thought leaders, and passionate individuals who share our vision for a more inclusive and sustainable future.”

The LG Insider Community will serve as a hub for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and advocacy, providing members with access to exclusive events, resources, and networking opportunities. Through engaging discussions, thought-provoking content, and hands-on experiences, members will have the opportunity to explore emerging trends, exchange insights, and drive meaningful impact in their respective fields.

“As industry experts, it’s our responsibility to leverage our collective knowledge and expertise to drive positive change,” said Mrs. Juliana Ametorwogo, Telecommunications Engineer and President, Women in Technology. “I’m excited to join the LG Insider Community and collaborate with like-minded individuals who share a passion for innovation and empowerment through technology.”

Speaking on the topic “Embracing Technology and Driving Diversity in Innovation”, the guest speaker said the launch of the LG Insider Community underscores LG’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility. By bringing together diverse voices and perspectives, LG aims to empower its community members to create meaningful change and shape a future where technology serves as a catalyst for progress and inclusion.

The panel discussion featured a diverse lineup of speakers, each offering unique insights and perspectives on how technology can be leveraged to address pressing global challenges and empower individuals and communities. During the discussion, panelists explored a wide range of topics, including the importance of diversity and inclusion in driving innovation and challenges faced by women in the tech industry and strategies for overcoming them. They also highlighted the importance of collaboration, diversity, and ethical considerations in harnessing the full potential of technology for the benefit of humanity.

The panel discussion served as a testament to the LG Insider Community’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and social impact. By bringing together diverse voices and perspectives, the community aims to inspire action and drive positive change in a rapidly changing world.

The event held at Labadi Beach Hotel had in attendance Kojo Yankson, host of the Super Morning Show on @joy997fm; Mrs. Juliana Ametorwogo, Telecommunications Engineer and President, Women in Technology; Dr. Felicia Odame, President of the Board, Alliance for African Women Initiative (AFAWI); Ms. Doris Onwuagba, Digital Manager, LG Electronics; Mr. Moses Osime, Public Relations Manager, LG Electronics; Mrs. Winifred Kotin, Technology entrepreneur and consultant; and a host of others.

Attendees can look forward to engaging keynotes, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities designed to inspire and equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to drive positive change in their respective fields.
