Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is both believable and reliable, according to Richard Ahiagbah, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Director of Communications.
Ahiagbah attributes this to the deep trust expressed by the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs in Bawumia’s ability to contribute positively to Ghana’s development.
“The President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs summed it up when he called on his Chiefs to support Bawumia’s vision to bear fruit for Ghana. You, too, can support Bawumia for victory on December 7th,” he wrote on X.

His comments come at a time the Greater Accra House of Chiefs has expressed its confidence in Dr Bawumia to lead the country effectively as President.
The House of Chiefs believes Dr. Bawumia has the potential to surpass the achievements of his predecessors and make a positive impact on the country.
The Paramount Chief of Nungua and Acting President of the Greater Accra House of Chiefs, Oboade Notse King Professor Odaifio Welentsi III, expressed these sentiments during a meeting with Dr. Bawumia on Tuesday, June 4 when Dr Bawumia called on the traditional leaders at the Dodowa premises of the Regional House of Chiefs as part of his nationwide engagement with key stakeholders.
He emphasised that Dr. Bawumia’s calm and composed personality is an asset that will serve him well in leadership and urged him to maintain his temperament.
