TANGABISI CONGRATULATE NATIONAL BEST WORKER, MR. EDWARD KAREWEH, AND UPPER EAST REGIONAL BEST WORKER, ALHAJI SHERIFF ADAMS
On May 1, 2018, when the entire nation stood together to celebrate workers for their tireless contribution to nation building, two of our own and proud past students of the Bolgatanga Senior High School (BIG BOSS), Mr. Edward Kareweh and Alhaji Sherriff Adams were adjudged Overall Best Worker for 2018 and Upper Regional Best Worker 2018 for Upper East respectively.
Mr. Edward Kareweh (School Folio No. I.74) and Alhaji Sheriff Adams (School Folio No. H. 109) completed BIG BOSS in 1983 and 1982 respectively, after they were successfully imbibed with many academic attributes and positive attitude to duty.
As fellow past students of the Great BIG BOSS, TANGABISI (the association of old past students) is delighted to note that these proud winners are exhibiting many of these traits at their respective workplaces, the results of which have now only become national.
We, therefore, wish to congratulate Mr. Kareweh and Alhaji Sheriff Adams for their immense contribution to nation building, sterling work ethics, exceptional commitment to duty and positive attitude towards work, which have translated into the national and regional accolades conferred on them at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on this year’s May Day and at the Upper East Regional Celebrations at Bongo in the Upper East Region.
For us, the award is a testament of the values that BIG BOSS instilled in the two proud sons and we are delighted to see them radiate and continue to champion them, right from their days at BIG BOSS. Thus, while we associate ourselves with their successes, TANGABISI wish to emphasise that the recognitions are timely, opportune and very deserving.
With its motto as ‘To the Glory of God and Honour of Ghana,’ BIG BOSS has since its inception strived to groom future leaders whose lives and duties will glorify God and bring honour to their communities and Ghana as a whole. We therefore are not surprised that the two were selected as deserving of the honours. We are also confident that the gesture will inspire them to achieve more, mentor colleague workers and infect others with their good work culture.
As we celebrate these great national achievers, we wish to appeal to all past and continuing students of BIG BOSS to allow this honour done to two of our own, be an encouragement and propel them into greater heights in life, career and education, among others.
Since its inception in 1970, BIG BOSS has been a perfect grooming place for exceptional leaders and we are proud that products of this great school are living up to the expectations of our forebears, teachers and all stakeholders in the education sector.
And as we celebrate with Mr. Edward Kareweh and Alhaji Sheriff Adams, we wish to use this opportunity to also congratulate all past students in and outside Ghana who are making great contributions to the betterment of humanity. Continue to raise high the flag of BIG BOSS. BIG BOSS, To the Glory of God and Honour of Ghana
Signed by:
