Residents of Teshie and its environs are calling on the government to expedite work on the road which links Teshie to Spintex.
According to them, the project, when completed, will bring relief to motorists who ply on the stretch.
This was made known to the Member of Parliament for Ledzekuku Constituency, Dr. Okoe Boye, after he made a donation ahead of the Teshie Homowo Festival.
As part of his program for this year’s Homowo Festival, Dr. Okoe Boye made a a cash donation of $500 and GHc 2000, a bag of maize, cartons of soft drinks and Castle Bridge, a gallon of palm oil, a carton of fish to each of the five royal families that makes the Teshie Traditional Council.
He visited Klanaa, Kle Musum, Agbawe, Lenshi and Gbugbla.
The MP was accompanied by Chief Joshua McAdjei, the NPP constituency chairman for Ledzokuku, members of the Rebecca Foundation, constituency executives and party members.
The Families used the opportunity to ask remind him of some of the constituency’s challenges.
