Alpha Beta Education Centres, Dansoman, has celebrated its 30th anniversary under the theme ‘Leaving a Lasting Legacy: Impacting Families and the Community’.
The 30th Anniversary and homecoming celebration took place at their main campus in Dansoman on Saturday 17th November 2018.
It featured a colourful display of performances from students, presentation of awards to students and staff and goodwill messages from the founders of the school – Rev. and Mrs. Adjepong, as well as special Guest of Honour – Hon. Cynthia Morrison, Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection.

The celebration also saw the launch of a special Mobile Library Project which is aimed at serving children from surrounding communities who do not ordinarily have access to a variety of reading materials.
During the launch, the Principal of the school – Mrs. Florence Adjepong, stated that “The mobile library would serve not just to help children with reading and literacy, but would be a vehicle for providing other educational workshops for children in disadvantaged communities”.
Following the launch, the Principal provided information on the school’s new charitable project – a Community Scholarship Fund aimed at providing free and heavily subsidized community initiatives including adult literacy programs, parenting workshops, teacher training and youth empowerment workshops within the Dansoman community.
