Speaking to Citi News, the District Electoral officer for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Dominic Agbanu, stated that measures have been put in place to make sure that today’s elections are peaceful and transparent.
“As you can see the commission has provided PPE to limit the spread of the COVID-19 so there is a COVID-19 ambassador who will take the temperature and ensure that the people wash their hands before proceeding to start the voting process. And before they leave they are sanitized. Security is also very tight and everything is set and I can assure you that there will be peaceful elections. We have all the political party representatives and everything is transparent and fair, they went through all the necessary accreditation to be with us.”
