The Bono Regional Minister, Justina Owusu-Banahene has called on churches to inculcate the socio-cultural values of Ghana into the youth.
Ms. Owusu-Banahene made the call when she spoke at the opening of a new church auditorium for Living Springs International Worship Center of the Assemblies of God Church in Sunyani.
“The youth are the future of Ghana and for that matter God’s embassy. So please, we should be modest in whatever we do. Your moral and ethical values should spearhead whatever you do. Anytime we mount the pulpit, let us add the socio-culture values to our sermons so that our young ones would learn something out of it.”
She urged the church to also show compassion to the needy in society.
“You have a lot of work to do apart from helping to put up this structure. Faith, love, and peace and supported with prayer would be able to do more for Christ and the society.”
The Head of Living Springs International Worship Center of the Assemblies of God, Rev Joshua Kere speaking at the ceremony commended the congregation for the support and sacrifice they made towards the putting up of the auditorium.
Rev. Joshua Kere noted that the future of the Assembly is bright and urged the congregation not to relax but continue to support the Ministry.
