After providing surgery for some children with heart diseases in Accra over the years, Kwabena Kwabena is ready to spread his tentacles.

The highlife artiste told Citi TV’s Kojo Akoto Boateng on ‘Saturday Live’ that his annual event, ‘Save a Life Foundation,’ will be moving to the Western Region this year.

[contextly_sidebar id=”XTQiOVZFVePhDlqWuuCMfahAcoNJqJaR”]“The fans have been complaining that we’re always doing these things in Accra. So this time we are taking it to Western Region. The next time, we go to another region. So this is what we’ll be doing. We’ll be moving to every region so everybody has a feel of what we do,” he said.

Save A Life is an initiative of Kwabena Kwabena, it is a non-governmental organization that is primarily aimed at raising funds to assist the Cardiothoracic Center to relieve the pressure and constraints of not being able to carry out surgeries for its patients due to lack of funds from patients.

The foundation also seeks to raise awareness of the increasing pressure on the centre and the number of patients who are just waiting to die with no one to lend a helping hand.

For the past years, he has been organising concerts to support children with heart-related diseases.

After the 2017 event, Save a Life Foundation in collaboration with the Israeli Embassy sent 4 patients to Israel  for heart surgery.

He is currently preparing for the 2018 edition of the programme, which will be held in September.
