Samuel Letsa, 66, is facing charges of murder of Mr. Simon Dzanku in Klefe in the Ho municipality of the Volta Region.
Mr. Letsa according to the Ho Municipal Police commander, DSP Anthony Komla Danso, was allegedly firing musketry at the funeral of Mr. Kudzo Krah who was the warlord of Klefe.
“While reloading the musket, the gun went off and killed 62-year-old Simon Dzanku,” DSP Anthony Danso told Citi News.
The accused has been remanded in police custody by the Ho magistrate court while the case has been adjourned to the 16th of April 2019 after which the prosecution will present its docket to the Attorney General’s department for advise.
