Makeup and More School of Cosmetology hosted its first-ever graduation ceremony on Sunday the 14th of August 2019.
The program took place at the GNAT Hall, Teshie Nungua Estate.
The founder and education director Gloria Abla Pwamang in her welcome address stressed the need to marry the skill acquired by the students with a good attitude to enable them to excel and impact society positively.
The school which is accredited by Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Council for Technical and Vocational Education Training (COTVET) trains in the following; Beauty Therapy, Hair Technology, Millinery and Beading. We also do short courses in Makeup Artistry, Nail extension and more.
Guests arrived from various walks of life and were welcomed and directed to their seats by neatly dressed ushers.
As part of events for the day, students put up a modelling show to showcase the skills they had acquired, choreography to entertain guest and also a slide show of Academic work and awards.
Oheneyere Gifty Anti, the guest of honour encouraged the graduates to go out and excel by using their attitude and uniqueness to their advantage.
Certificates were then presented to the twenty-six graduates and a prayer said for them by Rev. Father Denies Opoku.
In her closing remarks, the chairperson Miss Rita Seglah of Barclays bank added few titbits that will help them stay in business.
Students who excelled were presented with certificates and packages which were sponsored by MAYBELLINE cosmetics, title Sponsors of the Graduation.
