Nigerian jailed two years for sexually assaulting 14-year-old

The Abura Dunkwa District Magistrate court in the Central Region presided over by his worship Anthony Abebrese has sentenced a Nigerian, Samuel Adeyomo to two years in imprisonment on charges of assault and indecent assault.

Both sentences will run concurrently.

Speaking to Citi News, DSP Irene Oppong the Central Regional Police PRO explained that on August 12, 2019 George Mensah, Assemblyman for Abura Asebu-Kwamankese arrested and brought to DOVVSU, suspect Samuel Adeyomo, 25, and reported that the Nigerian has sexually assaulted his 14-year-old daughter.

According to the Police PRO, the victim (namewitheld) was going to the farm when suspect attacked her.

“She forcefully dragged the fourteen year old into a nearby bush and sexually abused her when she was on her way to the farm” the Police PRO explained.
