A management and financial consultant, Nii Kpakpa Quartey, has donated an undisclosed amount of money to New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives to support 10 polling stations in the Weija-Gbawe Constituency under the party’s ‘Adopt a polling station’ initiative.
In a brief meeting held between the Member of Parliament for the area, Tina Mensah, the constituency chairman Michael Danquah, and other party members, Mr. Quartey applauded the team for their good leadership and the developmental projects they had brought to the region.
He was confident that the good people of Weija and Gbawe will vote massively as a show of appreciation for the many successes chalked in the last 4 years.
Some of the achievements of Ms. Mensah include the provision of mono-desks and dual beds to schools in the constituency.
In health, the MP has succeeded in building several CHPS compound facilities to enable access to health services in otherwise hard to reach areas.
In sanitation, eighty-four 340ml bins have been positioned at vantage points in the constituency to reduce the incidence of refuse dumping and littering.
The MP thanked Mr. Quartey for his kind gesture and assured him that they will do their best to deliver a resounding one-touch victory come Monday 7th December 2020.
Nii Kpakpa Quartey was accompanied by the leadership of Patriotic Angel, a pro-NPP group of which he is the patron.
