A local antiseptic liquid and antibacterial soap manufacturing company, Delta Agro Limited has donated cartons of antibacterial soap and antiseptic liquids to Citi FM as a contribution to the company’s Easter Orphan Project.
The Marketing Manager of the company, Mohammed Al Roz who donated the items on behalf of the entire team said the gesture extended was part of their corporate social responsibility and was also a generous support targetted at orphans.
The donation which was done on Thursday, April 1, 2021, was received by Citi FM’s marketing executive, Pamela Ntreh.
Every Easter, Citi FM solicits food and general items from its listeners and corporate bodies to be donated to people who need it, including the Baptist School Complex Orphanage (BASCO) at Trotor near Suhum in the Eastern Region under a project named the Easter Orphan Project.
The items solicited are rice, gari, beans, sugar, maize, milk, biscuits, drinks, detergents, toiletries, hand sanitisers, disinfectants, among others.
Donations can be made at the front desk of Citi FM and Citi TV, behind the Adabraka Police Station.
