Solar power company REDAVIA has launched a solar project, a 1.140 MWp solar plant at Amponsah Efah Pharmaceuticals.
The project comes in after the Ghanaian pharmaceutical company installed a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system in its factory in Fumesua, Kumasi, which increased the company’s energy requirement by more than three times.
“I am thankful to the REDAVIA team for the tenacity and professionalism they showed, leading to a safe, successful installation and implementation. I am looking forward to a good business relationship for years to come,” K. Amponsah Efah, Managing Director of the pharmaceutical company, said at the handing over of the project.
The solar product includes the Fast Track 8o Ground Mount (FTS-8oGM) and the Fast Track Solar 40 Carport (FTS-4oCP).
At 1087.2 kWp, the Ground Mount provides the bulk of the solar generation, while the 52.8 kWp Carport provides affordable energy along with a premium aluminium carport to provide shading and protection of vehicles.
The CEO and founder of REDAVIA, Erwin Spolders also said, “We are proud to have deployed our largest solar panel project to date at Amponsah Efah Pharmaceuticals, and we are looking forward to growing in partnership with them as they expand their business.”
