Airtel Tigo has apologised to its customers over disruptions of its money service.
The telecommunication network attributed the difficulty in sending money to “unforeseen technical challenges”
“The service disruption has inconvenienced mobile money users of other networks who wish to transact with AirtelTigo Money users.
“This has affected ATMoney transactions such as sending & receiving money, withdrawals, purchases of airtime/data, checking of balances, among others.”
It said its engineers are “working around the clock to restore the service in the shortest possible time.”
