The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha has encouraged young members of the party to run for elected seats when they become available.
He underlined that the party has a strong competitive culture, regardless of how long a person has been a member.
Mustapha urged all young people in the country to join the party and showcase their abilities in an interview with Liberty FM during his tour of the Western North Region.
Mustapha emphasized the NPP as a youth-focused party, highlighting General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong and many appointees as examples of rising young leaders.
Also suggested were Pius Enam Hadzide, Mustapha Ussif, Francis Asenso-Boakye, and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
Mustapha has been on a series of regional tours since his election, with the Western North Region being his 15th stop.
