President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was honoured last Tuesday by the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC) for his contribution to the growth and sustenance of peace in Ghana.
The honour was bestowed in Accra, where the President of FICAC, Nikolaos Margaropoulos, led a delegation to pay a courtesy call on the President.
President Akufo-Addo was awarded FICAC’s highest honor, the “Gold Star Award.” He expressed his appreciation for the honor and emphasized that Ghana was committed to promoting African unity, economic growth, and sustainable development.
The visit not only demonstrated the importance of diplomatic relations among nations, but also highlighted Ghana’s growing influence and commitment to fostering closer ties with its African counterparts.
President Akufo-Addo highlighted the need for increased cooperation among African nations, stressing the importance of trade, investment, and cultural exchange to foster mutual prosperity.
The visit also symbolized a significant step towards enhancing cooperation, trade, and cultural exchange across the continent.
