An aspiring parliamentary candidate for the NPP in La Dade Kotopon, Joseph Addo has called for unity ahead of the NPP parliamentary primary in the constituency.
Mr. Addo is seeking to replace Dr Gerald Tetteh Nyanyofio as the party’s parliamentary candidate.
He made this known after he donated an office to the party in the constituency.
The office complex is situated on the Ako Adjei road opposite the Kingdom bookshop.
The donation is said to be timely considering that the party lacks a permanent office complex which forces the executives to operate from a rented apartment.
Joseph Addo said the move is to aid the party in its bid to capture power from the NDC in the constituency. In an interaction with the media, the aspiring parliamentary candidate clarified that the donation is motivated by his love for the party and not necessarily because he is seeking to win the parliamentary primary.
The office has been carefully partitioned to create office spaces for the Chairman, First, second and third vice chairpersons as well as the Secretary. There is also a space for meetings which will help the party with its strategy meetings.
For the constituency executives, this donation is timely as it is instrumental in its organization for the 2024 general election. The constituency’s First Vice Chairman Issac Odoi who accepted the donation on the behalf of the executives expressed appreciation to the aspirant for the kind gesture.
Meanwhile, Joseph Addo who is seeking to replace Gerald Tetteh Nyanyofio as NPP parliamentary candidate for La Dade-Kotopon is confident of victory.
