Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ has failed to maintain the number one position of Citi Countdown this week.
The song which was number one for three consecutive weeks on the chart has been dislodged by King Promise’s ‘CCTV.’
MzVee maintained her spot at the number two position with ‘I Don’t Know’, followed by ‘Girngo’ by Shatta Wale.
[contextly_sidebar id=”6nfk4pzQyNZkFTMoSzx543EUmYXhhHEa”]’CCTV,’ which was released about two weeks ago, has already earned its place in hearts of music lovers.
The song features Mugeez of R2Bees fame and Sarkodie.
Mugeez brings his soothing voice to bear on the song as he sings the chorus. Sarkodie, spices it up with lovely rap verse, as King Promise does justice to the singing-verses.
CCTV mirrors the omniscient attribute of God. It talks about how the all-seeing God watches over mankind and protects one from evil.
The ‘Citi Countdown’ airs on Citi 97. 3 FM every Friday at 4pm. It is hosted by Jessica Opare-Saforo and Sandister Tei.
The chart is generated from airplay of songs on radio.
