Ghanaian music duo, Keche have disclosed that they once fought over the same woman.
Speaking to Jessica Opare Saforo and Osei Kwame on Citi FM‘s ‘Traffic Avenue‘ on Tuesday, the ‘Aluguitugui’ hitmakers recounted how a lady stoked a fight between them.
For most music groups, disagreements that usually end up in breakups are as a result of women or money – but Keche even after suffering that situation, have remained stronger together.
“Once it [was over] a woman. It started in a flight. We were going to Amsterdam, I was just going through the chats I had with the lady and Andrew saw it and got angry,” Joshua said told Jessica in the interview.

They, however, noted that irrespective of their differences they still have respect for their work as a group.
In the interview, they condemned artiste rivalry and said they would channel their energies into producing more songs rather than engage in beefs.
They said the recent brawl between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy was unfortunate because it dented the image of the country especially at a time when Ghana was celebrating 20 years of its music awards.
“I pray that a lot of us will learn from this. No matter how provoking someone will be, try to control yourself,” they said.
“We don’t engage in beefs because we don’t like trouble. We’re not strong and we don’t have time for that,” Joshua added.
They are out with a new song called ‘Odo.’
Ghanaian music duo, signed a record deal with Golden Empire Legacy in April this year.
The 2-year contract offered the ‘Diabetes’ duo GHC2.5 million, a three-bedroom apartment and two Hyundai Elantra saloon cars to help them run their day-to-day activities.
Keche is known for songs like ‘Aluguntugui,’ ‘Sokode,’ ‘Flavour,’ ‘Monica’ and ‘Akoma.’
