The Director Ghana Think Foundation. Ato Ulzen Appiah and four others have been nominated for the prestigious Ghana Integrity Initiative award.
The other four nominees for Integrity Personality of the year are: Manasseh Awuni Azure, the Auditor General Daniel Domelevo, Managing Director of the Ghana Publishing company, David Boateng Asante and Engineer Edward Sowah Adjetey.
Ato Ulzen-Appiah is a social entrepreneur, consultant, blogger, and director of the Ghana Think Foundation who was named African Male Youth of the Year 2018.
He is a co-founder of Barcamp Ghana and Junior Camp Ghana, which inspires the youth to take up volunteer roles in Ghana.
The awards ceremony will be held on the 9th of December 2019 and will also be to commemorate the UN International Anti-corruption day and also to climax the GII’s 20th-anniversary celebrations.
The Ghana Integrity Awards seeks to recognize the efforts of outstanding individuals and public sector institutions making a significant contribution to the fight against corruption in Ghana.
The other awards to be won on the night include; Policy and Administrative reforms, Transparency and social Accountability, Efficient public service delivery and effective internal control enforcement.
The various institutions shortlisted will be evaluated and scored by the awards scheme’s evaluation committee.
