Voltic (GH) Limited, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), has made donations to support Citi FM’s Easter Orphan Project.
The company donated 50 packs of Voltic Mineral water and 100 bags of Voltic Cool-Pac water towards the project.
The presentation was done by the Special Events Coordinator (Sales & Marketing), Mr. Jeremiah Azu on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
The donation was made in line with the corporate social responsibility agenda of the company.
While pledging the company’s continuous support to the project, Mr. Azu said, “Voltic as a business is also concerned about people who don’t have enough to afford premium natural mineral water for themselves so as part of our corporate social responsibility we also donate to orphanages from time to time. Again, Voltic (GH) Limited believes in the Sustainability Development Goals, SDG’s and as a result, our key Sustainability focus is geared towards Goal 6 (Sustainable water and sanitation for all).”
The coordinator for Corporate Social Responsibility for Citi FM/Citi TV, Kafui Kuwornu thanked the company for the donation and urged other individuals and organizations to emulate the gesture.
All donations will be sent to the Baptist School Complex Orphanage (BASCO) at Trorto near Suhum in the Eastern Region.
Kafui Kuwornu said items needed included rice, gari, beans, sugar, maize, milk, biscuits, drinks, detergents, toiletries, hand sanitisers, disinfectants, among other items.
Donations can be made at the front desk of Citi FM and Citi TV, behind the Adabraka Police Station.
