Ghana’s biggest YouTuber, Wode Maya, has called for unity among various players in Ghana’s creative arts industry.
Speaking to Ghana Weekend during the second edition of the Entertainment Achievement Awards held in Accra on Saturday, February 26, the 31-year-old former aeronautical engineering student, expressed his satisfaction with the work of Ghanaian creatives and called for more collaboration between entertainers to sell Ghana to the world.
Taking home the Online Creator of the Year award, Wode Maya, who has over 1 million subscribers on YouTube, was among the 26 winners selected from various categories in sports, writing, film, music, fashion, media, comedy, events, among others.

The EAA is an initiative by Citi TV to award excellence in the entertainment industry by honouring players who have distinguished themselves in the practice of their art.
20-year-old singer, Black Sherif, took the ultimate award to become the Entertainment Personality of the Year.
Performers on the night included Akosua Agyapong, Akwaboah Jnr., Kobi Rana, Bogo Blay, Abiana and 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year, Diana Hamilton.
The Entertainment Achievement Awards by Citi TV was supported by GIPC, Kofi Abban Foundation, Good Day Energy Drink, Citi FM and Ghanaweekend.com.
