The Rotational Nurses and Midwives Association (RNMA) has suspended its demonstration scheduled for Friday, June 30, 2023.
The association in a release sighted by Citi News in Accra on Wednesday said its members would “demonstrate if our allowances are not been paid in full in the coming month.”
The association said it was going to demonstrate over non-payment of the over 11-month allowance arrears of its members.
RNMA is an affiliate of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA).
“The leadership suspends the impending demonstration on the 30th June 2023 and humbly write to inform you and the Ministry of Health,” the RNMA added.
The association expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Health for working tirelessly to secure their financial clearance.
