Talents in Africa has participated in the World Youth Development Forum 2023, which was held in Beijing, China from October 28 to November 3, 2023.
Their project, the Youth Employment Pathway Development Initiative (YEPDI), was selected as one of 100 Global Action Plans aimed at advancing towards Sustainable Development Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth.
This selection underscores the project’s significant contributions to youth empowerment and sustainable development.
The initiative, a collaborative effort between Talents in Africa and the KGL Foundation, has been instrumental in fostering employment opportunities and skill development among young people across three regions in Ghana – Greater Accra, Volta and Northern Region.
Organized by the All-China Youth Federation in conjunction with ILO Geneva and KAB China, among other prestigious partners, the forum provided a unique platform for Talents in Africa to exhibit its achievements and learnings from the project alongside 99 other innovative projects from around the world.
This participation not only highlighted the organization’s dedication to youth development but also its commitment to global collaboration for sustainable growth.
Talents in Africa applauded the All-China Youth Federation, ILO Geneva, KAB China, and Making Cents International’s Youth Employment Opportunities 2030 for their continuous support.
The organization also recognized the unwavering support and dedication of Mr. Emmanuel Anaman Mensah, Director, Administration of the Ghana National Youth Authority, and Francis Chuks NJOAGUANI, Director of ECOWAS Youth and Sports Development Centre (EYSDC) Ouagadougou.
Talents In Africa is a job-tech platform focused on creating youth employment accelerators for upskilling, re-skilling and accessing internship and job opportunities.
The organization looks forward to sharing its experiences and insights, fostering international cooperation, and continuing its journey towards a sustainable and inclusive future for all.
