The UCC Brethren Group donated relief items on Saturday, November 4, 2023, to support flood victims in the South Dayi and Asuogyaman constituencies.
Starting with the South Dayi constituency, the items were presented to the Member of Parliament for the area, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor.
The donations were made after the group, led by the South Dayi legislator, took a brief tour of the Volta Lake in Tongor-Dzemeni, where the flood has displaced hundreds of inhabitants, including women and schoolchildren.
The items intended for the Asuogyaman constituency were also presented to the MP for the area, Ampem Nyarko.
Mr. Dafeamekpor expressed his gratitude to the donors for their support.
He said, “My Chiefs, elders, myself, and the entire South Dayi community extend our gratitude to the donors for coming to support. May God richly bless you.”
