The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited (ECG) on Saturday, March 30, announced power outages in several areas within the Ashanti Region due to a reduced power supply to the Ridge Bulk Supply Point by the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo).
The affected areas are Telecel Gh., KATH, Ghana Water, Central police Qtrs, Military Barracks, part of Adum, GRA, Asafo, Cold Store, Adoato, Kropo, Alhamadiya, Ampabame, Bohyen, Abrepo, Atafoa, A-Lang, ITTU, Magazine, Yenyawoso, Brahabebome, Zaabo Zongo, Manhyia Palace, Ash Town, Akorem, Adukrom, Sepe Tinpomu, Lime, Breman, Kronom, Kronom Kwapra, Sasa, Bouho, Ampaame, Bodwesango, Patransa, Bomso, Roman Girls, Abakomade, Abuakwa, Tanoso.
Others include Paramount Distilleries, Abuakwa Formulation plant, Kessben Estate, Ensonyameye, Edwinase, Asare Farms, Ohwimase, Kwadaso Market, CAC University, Christian Service University College, A J Fanj, Naachia Quarry, Barekese Town, Abira, part of Offinso, Kokote, Ahodwo, Offinso ECG Office and its environs.
ECG in a statement expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the affected customers and stated that power will be restored once GRIDCo turns on the supply.
