The Ghana TVET Service has authorised students of Technical Institutes, who are 18 years old or older, to leave their campuses to participate in the forthcoming limited voter registration exercise.
The voter registration exercise, conducted by the Electoral Commission, is scheduled to start on Tuesday, May 7, and conclude on Monday, May 27.
TVET, in a statement released on Monday, May 6, stated, “Per the announcement, the Electoral Commission will conduct the exercise at its district offices and in difficult-to-access electoral areas.
“Subsequent to the above, students within the age bracket have been granted permission to leave campus on Tuesday 7th May 2024 and return on Sunday 12th May 2024 to enable them to participate fully in the exercise.”
