Achimota Retail Centre (Achimota Mall) has unveiled what its Management says is the most affectionate formula for expressing love, appreciation and gratitude to mothers during this year’s Mother’s Day season.
Mothers who get ‘nominated’ and acknowledged by their lucky sons and daughters at Achimota Retail Centre will be handed tickets to a lush spoiling session which includes a night’s stay at a classy hotel in Accra with all expenses paid.

“Lucky mothers will avail themselves of this lifetime experience when ARC patrons nominate them, by filling out a form with their details, along with a brief but sensational account of a childhood sacrifice which their mother made for them,” Mrs Pappoe explained.
She said entries for nominations will remain open for 16 days starting on Saturday, May 11 and may be made directly with promoters at the Centre or on the Centre’s social media platforms.
Three mothers will be selected based on the weight of the account of childhood experience provided by the patron and on Wednesday, May 29, the winning mothers shall be announced.
The Centre’s Management says on Mother’s Day itself, the ambience will be creatively ‘motherly’, while a string of surprises in giveaways and special discounts has been lined up for shoppers and revellers.
There would be a colourful ‘Photo Station’ mounted at the court for shots by mother and child and for those who may want to capture memorable moments with their mother.
“So clearly, the Mothers’ Day experience at ARC is a family affair. While our mothers get to enjoy the ultimate rewards for being such great mothers, the rest of the family gets something exciting to savour in the course of the 16 days,” the Marketing Manager said.
