Political, religious, traditional leaders as well as members of the diplomatic corps have gathered at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi to take part in the Akwasidae-Kese, a grand durbar to climax the 25th anniversary enrollment of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as the 16th occupant of the Golden stool.
Attendees of the durbar are persons from diverse cultural and traditional background gathered in unison to celebrate the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II who many have described as the symbol of peace and development.
Notable among the dignitaries are former President, John Agyekum Kuffour, Vice President, Dr Mahammudu Bawumia and his wife, Members of Parliament ,Ministers of State, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and other National executives of the two major political Parties.
