British born Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei has signed a new contract with English Premier League side Burnley.
The 20-year-old has agreed a 12-month extension, following two spells out on loan in League One this season, at Walsall and Blackpool.
The combative forward made his debut for the Clarets against Liverpool last season- one of his three appearances for Burnley.
“I’m delighted to be staying,” Agyei said. “Hopefully I can come back next season and kick on and try and push for a place in the team.”
Agyei has been monitored by the Black Stars technical team in recent times, but is yet to be handed an official call-up.
