Medeama Sporting Club has signed three players from Division One side, Oil City, on the final day of the local transfer window.
The players, left-back, Kingsford Baffoe and midfielders, Matthew Essiam and Frederick Kweigyah, joined the Yellow and Mauves on Monday at about 11:30 pm; 30 minutes to the closing of the transfer window.
The moves were confirmed by Oil City FC on Tuesday via a press release.
Medeama head coach, Samuel Boadu, stated his interest in the three players after the two teams met on Sunday in the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 match which Medeama won 2-1.
In his post-match interviews, Boadu mentioned the three players in an answer to a question bordering on his assessment of the Oil City FC team.

Citi Sports sources say the coach made his impressions known to the management of the team and that sped up the process of signing the three players who will join the first team for the rest of the Zylofon Cash Premier League campaign.
The latest additions raise the number of incomings at Medeama to 14.
In February this year before the start of the league, the team signed 11 new players including former Asante Kotoko player, Kwame Boateng.
In a related development, Oil City FC announced the signings of replacements with Joseph Selby taking the place of Matthew Essiam and Hector Kwofie and Sabiru Mohammed filling the gaps left by Kingsford Baffoe and Frederick Kweigyah respectively.
The team is currently engaged in talks with Hasport FC over the possibility of signing Emmanuel Amprah and Christopher Eshun.
