Accelerator programs are gaining more popularity and becoming important in the Ghanaian business eco-system due to the springing up of many startups and small-holder businesses most of which fail within their first five years of operation.
Among other reasons, their collapse is due to lack of capital and improper business structure.
With accelerator programs, these businesses are able to receive formal insight into business growth, stand better chances of raising capital and receiving mentoring or coaching from established business people.
