The Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana is calling on all Ghanaians including potential subscribers to take advantage of the new 4g plus internet connection rolled out by the telecommunications giants.
MTN the leading telecommunication service provider in the country this week launched the 4g plus internet service aimed at improving their services to numerous customers in the country.
4g plus which is 20 times faster than 3g and 5 times faster than 4g will help customers and subscribers of MTN to surf and browse at a faster speed.
In an interview with Citi News, the CEO of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adedevoh said the 4g plus will help Ghana catch up with the digital world.
“We launched 4g plus a few days ago and this is an LT advance technology which allows our data customers to browse at a much faster speed. 4g plus is 20 times the speed of 3g and 5 times the speed of 4g”.
“We launched 4g plus for two or three main reasons and one of them is because of the continuous demand for our customers to do the basic things they are doing well and also a demand to do more sophisticated activities and for us to be able to continue the work and serve that demand we launched 4g plus”.
Mr Selorm Adedevoh added, ” A lot of you may have heard about internet and things associated with it like, machine learning, artificial intelligence to prepare so that Ghana is not left behind in the digital world. We have 4g plus in all the regions in this country but we also have a plan to increase the number of sites we cover, currently, we have just less than 650 sites and we will continue to deploy new sites for it to be easier for everyone to enjoy the new 4g plus”.
“Just look on your phone, if say you are using a 4g enabled device you will see 4g plus on top, just switch on an join the fastest internet connection network in Ghana”.
