Professor Edmund Nminyem Delle, Chairman of the Convention Peoples’ Party (CPP) is to be enskinned as Naa Prof Edmund Nminyem Delle Chiir VIII of the Nandom Traditional Area.
The head of the Royal Family of Nandom, Alhaji Yussif Botug Benni Chiir in a statement explained that Prof. Delle was selected through due process of consultation in accordance with Nandom traditions and customs.

A brief profile of Prof Delle obtained by the Ghana News Agency indicates that the internationally acclaimed and renowned Dermatologist, was born on November 18, 1943, at Nandom in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
Prof Delle is credited with setting up Rabito Clinic with over 16 branches throughout Ghana, the majority of which are located in rural communities, where access to healthcare is a challenge.
Rabito Clinic Limited ensures the delivery of first-class medical services in general healthcare and emergencies; with specialised care in dermatology; treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs); antenatal care; and medical for care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Currently, Prof Delle is an Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, and a member of many national and international professional bodies including; Fellow of the American Association of Dermatologists (FAAD) (1986).
He is also a Member of the British Association of Dermatologists (MBAD) (1992); Commissioner for the International Commission for Health Professional (ICHP), an affiliate of the WHO (1989); and a Founding Member and a former National Secretary of the Ghana Society of Dermatologists.
Nandom Naa Prof Delle Chiir is Founding Fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (2005), and Founding Member of the African Association of Dermatologists, on which he served as Vice-President and Secretary General between 1991 and 1997.
He has been honoured with several awards over the years for his dedication and remarkable achievements in Health, Human Rights and Dermatology.
He is also the Board Chairman of the Catholic Centre of Hope for the Aged, Sick and Needy in Society. As a Secretary to the Catholic Doctors Guilds of Ghana, he organised the first Pan-African Congress of Catholic Doctors in Ghana in 1984.
He served as a Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Standard Magazine and Newspapers Limited from 1976 to 1999.
Prof. Delle is also the Founder and President of the African Commission of Health and Human Rights Promoters, Ghana (CASPSDH), an NGO, whose objectives include; the creation of treatment centres across Ghana and throughout Africa for victims of human rights violations.
