On Saturday, July 13, 2019, Citi TV will start the performance episodes of its music talent discovery show, Voice Factory.
Already, the contestants have been going through serious rehearsals and other interesting activities to prepare them for the competition.
Each of them is optimistic of winning the ultimate prize of GHc10,000.
Cleck Boyson, born Joel Boyson, describes himself as someone who “kills your boredom.”
According to him, he will be spicing up the show with his real entertaining performances.
Boyson attended Chemu Senior High School and Chrystal Galaxy School of Aviation.
The other contestants of this year’s contest are Sandra Ntiful Idara, Samuel Adjasoo, Joel Boyson, Kenny Kings and Genevieve Antwi-Nuamah.
The rest are Franklin Konadu, Ababio Joana, Samuel Baiden-Worgloh, Deborah Aflakui and Charisma.
Apart from getting the platform to showcase their individual talents to the world, the winner of the competition takes home Ghc10, 000.
The 10 selected singers will battle it out for the top spot, in live performance shows in a period of 13 weeks.
The judges for the main competition are music producer, Kaywa, rapper EL and gospel musician, Edinam Bright-Davies.
They will play a crucial role in assessing the performances of the contestants and ultimately decide who wins, together with public votes.
The contestants will be taken through voice training and other grooming tasks that will harness their musicianship.
The 4th edition of the competition which was previously aired on Citi 97.3 FM is meant to unearth music talents and put them in the limelight.
The programme which started in 2009 has had artists like Fritz Hehetror, Melody Wilson, Natasha Odoi emerging as winners.
‘Voice Factory’ will be aired on Citi TV on Saturdays at 7 pm with daily updates at 12 pm.
