ASA Savings and Loans as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has donated items to the Jubilee Catholic Children Hospital at Apowa in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region.
The items include 4000 litres of poly tank, tissues, 20 plastic chairs, 2 (240 litres) dustbins, three big bucket sizes of Azar paint, detergents, weight scales and blood pressure monitors.
Mr Francis Gyabeng, the Kwesimintim Area Manager of the company explained that these items are needed to care for the patients.
“We acknowledge that your hospital serves the majority of the people in the Municipality, and we appreciate the good health care delivery you are offering to the communities,” he said.
Daniel Bomah, the Hospital Administrator expressed gratitude to the ASA Savings and Loans for the gesture.
“These items, are of great relief to us and we hope the relationship will continue. We are ever ready to give our human resources to support your health screening when the need arises” he said
Dr. Marian Afful-Eshun, Acting Head of the Facility/ Medical Director promised the items would be used effectively and efficiently.
Richard Nartey, the CSR and Sustainability Manager of the company said this is the company’s commitment to ensure sustainability development goal(SDG-4), Good health and well-being are attained.
“We have committed and will continue to commit resources towards the attainment of all the SDG goals across the country,” he added.
