Ghanaian artiste Ponobiom has pleaded with Anas Aremeyaw Anas to slow down on his promotion for the premiere of his ‘Number 12’ investigative work.
The exposé by the investigative journalist will be premiered on June 6, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
There will also be screenings in Kumasi, Tamale, and Takoradi between June 9 and June 16.
[contextly_sidebar id=”rhVRrY508suweiMXsQ09JsFfrZnPe3bz”] According to Ponobiom, the euphoria surrounding the premiere of Anas’ video will drown the release of his latest music video which is due in few days.
“Dear @anasglobal, I beg cool down, so I can small let me promo my video and release it before you hype your show … yours faithfully (ponobiom)”, he tweeted.
Anas’ yet-to-be-released work has generated a lot of talk in the media, keeping people in suspense as to what the content is about.
Giving a foretaste of the content of the production, Anas recently published an article pointing out the rots in the sports fraternity and his resolve to clean up the mess.
“It is for the sake of more sanity and transparency that I have decided to scrape clean this tainted football system for a fresh start.
The very foundation of Ghana football will collapse in a heap, to be rebuilt by the concerned sports journalists and the honest football people who will remain standing.
Hold your breath for the explosive exposé in the coming days,” he wrote.

Already, the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi, is under investigation over the video.
The investigation is being conducted at the behest of the President, Nana Akufo-Addo who earlier issued an order of his arrest after a security briefing on Anas’ exposé on Ghana’s football scene.

Nyantakyi is believed to have been captured negotiating a deal using the name of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
In the meantime, Ponobiom is preparing to release the video of his new song ‘Obiaa Wor Ne Master’ which features Stonebwoy.
